I like to do things big.
So when my church group sent around a sign up for a group peach order-- I joined in. The peaches were delivered today. I bought 15 lbs. of peaches. What looked good on paper is now staring me in the face on my kitchen counter.
I love peaches. No one else does. I now have quite a few pounds to deal with.
I'm calling out to all of you creative people...
What can I make with my peaches?
Any good recipes out there?

Peach cobbler...YUM! My favorite! I don't have a recipe though but if I can get my grandmas I'll send it to you...It's the best!
Slice and freeze some (lay them out on pans to freeze so they won't stick together, then put in a ziploc). They're good in smoothies (if you like those) or you can use them in cobbler or something later. I also have some canning recipes if you want some, but my comment is already long.
I saw this post a while ago... and that's what I'm going to do with mine!

How about raspberry peach freezer jam... It's pink, they won't know the peaches are in there. I use the recipe in the sure jell and it's pretty good.
Millions of peaches, peaches for me, millions of peaches, peaches for free! Hmmm....that's a lot of peaches. Freezer jam is easy and you have a rockin' fruit pie recipe, if I do recall. Have you considered making one of your kid's a Halloween costume with them? Just a thought.
Mike bought THE BIGGEST box of peaches and I canned some - found out that is a TON of work. Then I made the cake from "the pionner woman cooks" - her strawberry shortcake: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2009/05/strawberry-shortcakecake/ but baked in a 9 by 13 pan and topped it with 6 or 7 chopped up peaches and the icing - SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!! Glad you got some ideas. I will have to try your pie recipe. I bought 20 lbs., yes 20 lbs. of blueberries this spring and could have used it then.
You totally forgot about peaches and cream ... I use heavy whipping cream 'cause half and half is just not right! I hope you have a few left in the freezer ... get them out and drizzle with a lot of sugar. Let them rest in the fridge then get them out and add the heavy whipping cream. Enjoy!!!
