Confessions of a Nutter

Confession...

I have always wanted to shave my head.

Too weird?

Well, fine.

But if you think about it, how cool would it be to just shower and go?  You wouldn't have to worry about conditioner because no one could tell if it was shiny and smooth.  No extra time in the bathroom with curling irons, products and blow driers.  You could wear a hat any time and never have the feared "hat hair."  People would notice your face a lot more because they have nothing else to stare at.

The way I look at it, it would be the key to a hassle free world.

But then again, I'm a little nutty.

What's your secret wish?

I don't think I'd call you nutty, maybe just ballsy :) I don't think I could do it, but I do see the appeal. I think I'll stick to just shaving my legs and pits...and occasionally my big toes.

Yes, I've considered it. Joked about it. Had a friend in High school who did it.

But then when it started growing in, we all noticed she had huge bald spots that her very thick hair covered up normally. Looked kind of odd.

Still consider it, though.

I have done it. I shaved my head right after I graduated from high school. I wanted to do it my senior year but i classmate ended up going through chemo so i didn't want to offend. It was awesome. I spent the summer like that.

Now my hair hair is all the way down my back. But its been a couple of years. Almost 8 years actually. :)
If you want to do it, you shoudl just do it. My advice is...hair grows...if you don't like it...just take some folic acid everyday and your hair will grow nice and fast. But if you have the thought, I think you should go for it! :)

I would love to wear my hair like Halley Berry. (Great, I don't even know how to spell her name.) any way, I would not look like her so I don't. But, shaved, yes, I would like to do that.

I went thru chemo a few years ago and was really nervous about being bald. Turns out I LOVED it. I am lucky enough to have a "perfect" head and looked super cute bald. Also the NO shaving thing was amazing. I was really sad when my hair started growing back.

The only bad thing was the way everyone else looked at me. I got so tired of the pity looks that I started wearing a hat because it made everyone else more comfortable.

my secret wish is that the hair on my legs and toes would stop growing. Seriously, I could live in Europe for the very reason that many women do not shave there. TMI??

Oh I don't know if I tell then my secret wish may not come true... right? I can't wait till I'm a little older and I can cut it super short and spike it like a super cool grandma!

I too would LOVE to shave my head and every summer the thought crosses my mind to just take the plunge. I'm solely sold on the idea of shower and go!

I came super close to doing it this past summer, but chickened out at the last minute.
