I have a rule about dreams. They should NEVER be shared. EVER.
I'm not talking about the change-the-world-motivational kind of dreams. I'm talking about the I-just-had-the-craziest-night-sleep kind of dreams.
Have you ever been with someone who says-- I had the weirdest dream? Or better yet, I had a dream about you last night.... um, awkward.
We all know that dreams can be weird and anything goes in dream land-- so why try to explain it to someone else? It will never make sense to someone who didn't dream it themselves. It makes people feel weird and uncomfortable. It's like asking someone to pick your back zits-- you just shouldn't do it. No one really likes it.
Anybody with me?
What's your most awkward dream conversation with someone?

My husband's companion in the MTC told a girl there that he had a dream about her and they were supposed to be married. The guy had never met her, let alone spoke to her before and could not understand why she avoided him after that. My husband had tried to explain to the guy that it was crazy, but he didn't get the message. So sad for the girl, and for my husband who got to sit there and listen to the conversation.
Okay, that is really good advice. I find it creepy as well.
Yep, I am with you. Totally pointless talking about them and you should NEVER tell someone you had a dream about them. Never, ever, ever.... I don't know quite why it is creepy but it just is.
Probably ought to take this advice, seeing that I typically do blab my dreams. And I have thee weirdest dreams.
I am a teacher (high school), and it is REALLY awkward when a student tells me I was in their dream! I usually tell them I don't want to know about it!
Now, to make you all feel weird and uncomfortable, I like picking at my husband's back zits! It is therapeutic or something. He hates it.
